It is our desire to hold all events face to face. However, due to the current circumstances, Bach competition will be held virtually this year. Students were to record their audition and upload it to Youtube.
APPLICATION & PAYMENT
Online only. Only teachers are allowed to enter students. Please enter all students in one application. You do not need to print out any application forms and judges comment sheets.

Winners will be announced before the Thanksgiving break. There will not be a separate recital. Instead, we will compile a video that consists of a performance of each winner and upload it to Youtube.

$25.00 if the teacher is a current member of NDMTA enrolled by Sept 15,02020.
$35.00 if non-member.

PIANO REPERTOIRE REQUIREMENT
- Eligibility: Any student from age five to age eighteen may enter. All categories are open to ages five to eighteen EXCEPT the Level One Anna Magdalena Notebook Category; that is limited to ages 5-7. (Students who are ages 5-7 as of the application deadline, October 18, 2020.)
- Scoring: Scoring will be like Festivals: Outstanding Performer, Award of Excellence, and Honorable Mention. There will be no limit to the number of Outstanding Performer. Cash awards will be awarded to the winners of all levels at the sole discretion of the judges. While only the first and second place chosen by the judges will be awarded and performing at the Winners Recital, all winners will be recognized at the Award Ceremony following the recital. Winners List will be sent through emails to the teachers .
- Repertoire requirement: All repertoire must be memorized. Judges scores and awards are final. No teacher, parent or student should talk to the judge about the scores given.
All teachers entering students in the competition are required to work. Teacher’s duties will be arranged shortly after the competition chairperson receives the applications. Teachers will be provided in advance the information about their assignments
